Our Mission

The mission of the Jersey Shore Dream Center is to provide sustainability through the restoration of men, women, children, seniors, and veterans who are overcome by life controlling issues, such as chronic homelessness, addiction, poverty, abuse and hunger.

Who We Are

We are a community of passionate and loving people consumed with Godly purpose to find unmet needs in the Jersey Shore and develop creative and sustainable programs to address those needs.

Who We Serve

The Jersey Shore Dream Center serves residents of Monmouth and Ocean County, New Jersey living under the poverty line and battle life controlling issues.

To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities by giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Special Olympics New Jersey will be the premier non-profit sports organization worldwide, known for excellence and innovation in providing opportunities to enrich the lives of all current and potential Special Olympics athletes, their families and society as a whole.
o Sports Training and Competition offers athletes the opportunity to participate in more than 200 year-round Olympic-type sports events
o Unified Sports brings together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities on sports teams to train and compete side-by-side, each one a meaningful and equal part of the team
o Athlete Leadership empowers athletes to explore opportunities for greater participation beyond sports training and competition
o Young Athletes offers children ages 2 through 7 a chance to develop fundamental sports skills
o The Healthy Athletes Program provides free health screenings in seven different health areas, all offered in a fun, welcoming environment
o Camp Shriver enhances sports skills while teaching athletes about overall health and fitness
o Project UNIFY promotes youth leadership, school-wide awareness and Unified Sports initiatives. Youth and educators work together to build school communities where all students feel accepted and Play Unified
